Problem Description

During the use of the EP - 1690 USB network card, the Wi - Fi connection disappears while the Bluetooth function still works properly. This situation is likely caused by driver issues. You can try the following solutions.


Solution Steps

Step 1: Open the Device Manager
There are several ways to open the Device Manager:

 

· Method 1: Using the Win + X shortcut

· Press the Windows key and the X key simultaneously on your keyboard.

· In the pop - up menu, select "Device Manager".

· Method 2: Search in the Start menu

· Click on the Start button (usually located at the bottom - left corner of the screen).

· In the search box, type "Device Manager" and then select the "Device Manager" application from the search results.


Step 2: Confirm the Hardware Status of the Network Card
After opening the Device Manager, you can see that the Bluetooth is running normally, but the EP - 1690 Wi-Fi hardware (Realtek 8822BU Wireless LAN 802.11ac USB NIC) cannot be found in the "Network adapters" section.


Step 3: Delete the Bluetooth Driver of the EP - 1690
In the Bluetooth section of the Device Manager, delete the Bluetooth driver of this network card. Right - click on "Realtek Bluetooth Adapter" and select "Uninstall Device".



Check the box to "Delete the driver software for this device" and then click "Uninstall".


Step 4: Scan for Hardware Changes
After uninstalling the Bluetooth driver, click "Scan for hardware changes" in the upper window of the Device Manager to refresh the hardware status.
